Andrew G. Hamill

Andrew Hamill is a partner at Alberti Lim who focuses his practice on patent litigation in district courts and at the International Trade Commission, where he has achieved significant victories for plaintiffs and defendants. He has experience in all phases of patent litigation, including pre-suit analysis, arguing Markman hearings and dispositive motions, taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, trial, and appeals. Andrew has also successfully represented his clients before the PTAB in Inter Partes Review proceedings.
Andrew has litigated highly complex cases involving a diverse array of technologies including smartphones, cable modems, VPNs, flash memory, CMOS image sensors, power amplifier designs, AMOLED displays, and communication systems. Before law school, Andrew worked in industry as a software engineer and earned a B.S. in Computer Science.
Andrew has over 18 years of IP litigation experience. Before joining Alberti Lim, Andrew started his career at a prominent international law firm. Andrew previously interned for the Hon. Susan Braden in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
