Alberti Lim & Tonkovich LLP, with co-counsel MoloLamken LLP, won an important victory for client Express Mobile in the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in a patent infringement case against Meta, Google, and eBay.

The Federal Circuit’s decision overturned an earlier PTAB ruling, correcting the claim construction. The matter will now continue in the PTAB on remand and then return to the district court for continuation of Express Mobile’s patent enforcement cases.

The case is Express Mobile v. Meta Platforms, Inc. et al., Case No. 23-1646 (Fed. Cir. 2025. Meta (Facebook) is represented by Cooley LLP, Google is represented by Paul Hastings LLP, and eBay is represented by Orrick LLP.
